Join Us for Our Praise and Worship Service

All of us at Victory Christian Fellowship invite you to join us in the praise and worship portion of our service. This portion of our service is more than just singing songs. It is a wonderful way to proclaim the power, ability, and love of God. This is also a way for us to proclaim our gratitude, love, and joy toward Jesus for all He has done for us.

Let us explain our style of praise and worship scripturally just in case this is something you are not used to. After reading the below verses if you still have questions concerning our worship or anything else about our church, please feel free to speak to Pastor Jim. Visit us today!

Our Style of Worship Includes the Following

Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion. Declare His deeds among the people -Psalm 9:11

Singing

Psalm 95:1 - Oh come, let us sing to the Lord
Colossians 3:16 - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, ...singing with grace in your heart toward the Lord.

Hand Clapping

Psalm 47:1 - Oh clap your hands all you peoples.

Lifting Hands

Psalm 134:2 -- Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
1 Timothy 2:8 -- Therefore I desire that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands.

Shouting

Psalm 32:11- Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.
Psalm 98:4 Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.

Instruments

Psalm 150:3-6 - Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet. Praise Him with the flute and the harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance.
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes. Praise Him with cymbals. Praise Him with clashing cymbals, let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Dancing

Psalm 149:3 - Let them praise His name with dance.
Psalm 150:4 - Praise Him with the timbrel and dance.

Choruses and Hymns

Ephesians 5:18-19 - And do not be drunk with wine which is dissipation, but be filled with the spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs making melody in your heart to the Lord.
